A Little History...
The History of RV Resort & Yacht Club Owners’ Association Begins in 1981,
When Outdoor Resorts of America (ORA) Broke Ground on the Property to
Create a New, Unique Luxury RV Vacation Destination, Outdoor Resorts RV
Resort & Yacht Club. ORA Had a Unique Approach to RV Resorts; They Deeded
Each RV Site and Sold Them to Individual Owners. ORA Then Created a
Property Owners Association (POA) for the Purposes of Maintaining and
Managing Many of the Common Areas and Amenities. In 1999, ORA Sold the
Marina and Associated Property, Along with the Developer's Rights,
Including the Sole Right to Rent the RV Lots, To Our Family-Owned Company,
BillyBob's Marinas, Inc. In 2001, BillyBob's Marinas Returned the Resort’s Name to
the Original "Local" Name for the Property, Hilton Head Harbor. During This
Period, the New Owners Remodeled and Added Infrastructure,
Including: New Docks, Extending and Rebuilding the Fuel Dock, a Complete
Remodel of the Reception Office, Building a New 500 Sq. Ft. Harbor Master's
Building and New Landscaping. These Efforts, Along with a Commitment
Towards Excellent Customer Service and Support From the POA, Resulted in Achieving
the Highest Rating in the Industry, 10/10*/10, From Woodall’s, Now Known as
The Good Sam Travel Directory. The Resort Has Continued This 10/10*/10
Rating of Excellence For More Than a Decade.
In December, 2017, the Marina and Rental Rights Lease
Were Sold to Turner's Marina, LLC.
Our Family-Owned Real Estate Brokerage, Hilton Head Holidays, Inc.,
Was Formed in 1999 Solely to Market the Beautiful RV Lots on Hilton Head Island.
Sarina Bentley, a Former Co-Owner of the Marina and Resort, Serves
as Our Broker-In-Charge. She Has an Extensive Knowledge of the Resort,
Rental Histories, Covenants and Rules, As Well As Previously Serving on the
